SO heres another version – and keep in mind, if you like certain elements from one – you can pick and choose what you want. So if there’s soemthing you like here, that wasn’t in the last one – or vice versa you can mis and match. So this one has a fold where you stuff the map/rsvp cards in to it.

Heres another view of everything that people would see when they opened it.

Here’s the RSVP card – these are much bigger, which would allow you to self address the back and put a stamp on it for people just to mail as it – or you can include an envelope for these.

Here’s an example of a map – they aren’t included in every wedding invitation, but might be helpful/nice if it’s a tricky location to get to, or you have a lot of guests who are unfamiliar with the area.

Here is how these ones close… similar to the other, you can also choose to add ribbon around it – the ribbon will make these need extra postage bc its pretty bulky. Oh, and yes i did hand make that star fish – we can find a “professional” one if you like the idea of incorporating something like that. haha, i know its pretty chicken scratch.

One more look at everything that’s included…. again, you can tie ribbon around the front like in the last one – if you like this version better, but want ribbon added.

OK so i didnt use the best printer, and i would definitely go somewhere like kinkos to print/cut everything so it has a better quality and perfect edges… i used my xacto knife, but sometimes i didn’t make perfect cuts… so excuse all that. So here’s what it will look like when people first open it up.

Another shot of how it looks upon opening it up.

THe ribbon unties, and here is the formal invite – this is wher eyou can put a starfish/sandollar and print it at the very top, about “the honor of your presence” it’d just scoot everything else down a little.

Here is the RSVP card, it can be made bigger if you want – and you can either order envelopes – and self address them for people to mail back, or treat it as a postcard and just self address the back – if you do that option it has to be a lot bigger bc its pretty small would fear itd get lost in the mail – you can add a sandollar/starfish on these too, next to the entree options on the bottom left, see that extra space?? thatd be a good spot for it.

Heres how they close, its those labels you got for J’s biz that one time – anything can be printed on these, from the date, to a starfish/sandollar or your names…. or just a nice cursive S for your last name

ANd the ribbon shows on the back, nice touch! =)

The San Diego sun is always oooh so pretty! I love it when Tiffany lets me snap a few pictures of her… she’s probably sick of me already, but I always love how beautifully she photographs. Another stunning collection to add to your growing album =)

Kevin and Justin | family portraits

I’ve been doing so many photos of girls lately I turned all crazy and thought I actually might want to have a little girl one day… FEAR NOT, because these two guys quickly reminded me why I want boys. You’re about to see the worlds next heartbreakers. The hair, the cheeks, the smiles, the running as fast as you can to the top of the hill (i didn’t even make it to the bottom of the hill before Kevin was at the top). Thanks for hanging out today guys, you were fabulous little models… ok – you were STUDS! That sounds less girly =)
These are my personal faves from the day!

Picture perfect, there isn’t any other way to describe them. I first met Avital when she was still in her moms stomach just a few short months ago, and look – she’s already old enough to be sitting up all on her own. Time flies!!!! I love shooting at their home, Gaby said it best, she has a house full of photography props, lucky me =)

Annalee | family portraits

with one comment

One of the best things about my job, is getting to see  adorable kids grow up. I feel like I just shot Annalee a few weeks ago, but it’d been almost 6 months! She’s walking, and talking, and keeping her parents very busy. Don’t you think she belongs in a Gap ad??? And yes, she does smile that often, I don’t have any magic tricks up my sleeve, the girl is the happiest little thing. Thank you Renee and Joe for such a fun morning!!! Can’t wait for the next session ;)

Ok, ok – so there were a few pouty faces in there too – but it’s too cute not to show!!And this cute little one is Annalee’s cousin Essence – It took her a while to warm up to me, but when she did, she was happy to play in front of the camera!!

Kyle + Megan | engagement shoot

with 2 comments

I’ve known Kyle since high school, he’s one of those guys who’s happiness is contagious. I’d met Megan here and there over the years, but I finally got to see that funkiness and craziness come out during our engagement shoot. What a perfect match!!! Megan your eyes are incredible – you can’t possibly take a bad photo. Everyone is going to agree with me after looking at some of the shots we got yesterday… Enjoy!

See??? I mean seriously???

Boys… I’ve always said that I only want to have boys, but I have to admit, after seeing just how precious and beautiful these two girls are, my mind might be not as made up as I thought (sorry Todd). You can dress them up, curl their hair, and dance around with girls – boys aren’t nearly as fun to dress up. I think these pictures will convince everyone to have a girl.
